These General Terms and Conditions apply to all sales of tickets for events organized by the WCP.

Ticket orders and purchases are binding in any form. A free cancellation of purchased tickets is possible until June 30, 2024. If the cancellation is made by December 31, 2024, only a 50% refund can be provided. In the event of a cancellation until March 31, 2025, the participant will only receive a 20% refund of the paid fee. Starting from April 1, 2025, no refunds will be possible. No returns of purchased or ordered tickets are possible. All price details are considered “gross prices” (including statutory VAT). No liability is accepted for printing errors and the right to make individual price changes remains reserved. The ticket price is due immediately after concluding the contract.

Tickets

After the first-time electronic scanning of the barcode/QR-code, the ticket is blocked for further access. Further printouts or copies of print@home tickets or the subsequent presentation of identical mobile tickets are not valid for entry nor permit the exchange or a refund of the ticket price. Please keep your printouts or data safe and secure them from unauthorized access by third parties.

Admission to Events 

The right to admission to an event is only acquired upon full payment of the ticket acquired for this purpose including all charges and fees. WCP fulfills its obligation to grant access to the event in discharge of its debt against first presentation of a ticket. WCP is entitled to deny access to persons presenting a ticket if they have not acquired the right to access the event for lack of full payment of the ticket. This applies mutatis mutandis if a payment initially made is subsequently reversed.

Withdrawal rights for purchase of tickets, subscriptions and packages

Under § 18 para 1 subpara 10 of the Austrian Act on Distance Business (Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetzes – FAGG) there is no right of withdrawal in respect of services rendered in connection with recreational activities if a certain time or timeframe is contractually stipulated for the contract performance. Under § 4 para 1 subpara 11 FAGG we herewith inform you that there is no right of withdrawal in case of the acquisition of tickets, subscriptions and packages.

Privacy Statement

Your data are processed for the fulfillment of contracts and carrying out pre-contractual measures, for meeting statutory requirements and for safeguarding legitimate interests. Further information on data processing, storage period and your rights can be found in our Privacy Statement.

Changes

Changes of program do not constitute grounds for return or exchange of the tickets. This also applies to change of date of individual events.

The information on our website is updated regularly. We will also notify you in writing to the last indicated (email or postal) address of any substantial changes. In order to guarantee that all visitors can be informed of any changes we ask that tickets only be booked under the names of the persons that will be using them.

Consent to publication of your image

It is possible that during the event attended by you, photos or movies are recorded by us or by accredited individuals, or TV Recordings are made (hereinafter jointly referred to as »Recordings«). By acquiring your ticket, you give your consent to the publication or other public dissemination (e.g. on TV or in the Internet) of any Recordings on which you might be visible, in order to inform the public of the event in question. Your consent hereby also relates to the publication and dissemination of the requisite Recordings for these purposes by third parties making such Recordings with the approval of the WCP, or to whom the WCP makes such Recordings available.

Visual and sound recordings

Individual visual and sound recordings are not permitted during the event.

House rules

By acquiring an admission ticket, the visitor agrees to the House Rules of Sigmund Freud Privatuniversität (SFU) – Link. A valid ticket must be kept ready for presenting to the service personnel on request. In the event of infringements of the house regulations or of the above rules, the visitor may be excluded from the event without any refund of the purchase price.
